A Thousand Tangerine-flavored Thank-You's!!!

Zo & Vi made a trek to our fave hotspot, Tangerine again last night. As ever, we had a blast and met loads of interesting, unique, fun Friends & Blogfodder!

So, as per our usual style, we'll begin with the Tangerine-Flavored Thank-You's to all who made our night memorable:

To Dominic, my darling brother: You probably learned a bit more about your big sis than you REALLY wanted to know...but don't worry, it's nothing a few years of therapy can't take care of. (HA!) Seriously, though, Bro, you rock, I love you and I'm so glad you were there to share it!!

To the Best F*cking Bar Staff in St. Lou: MixMaster Matt, Liz, Andy, Stephanie & "Jimmy Jam" the DJ - we love you!! You're incredible!! What would we do without you??? Oh sure, we'd drink a lot less, probably, but where's the fun in THAT? (ha!) ***NOTE: The Riverfront Times says, and I quote: "...Tangerine (is) Brokaw's loungelike bar and restaurant that pretty much gave birth to Washington Avenue nightlife." It is THE bar to be at in St. Louis. So if you're in town, stop in, have some dinner (fabulous - esp. recommend the Morel Mushroom and Rosemary Butter Risotto....mmmmmmm), have a cocktail and enjoy the eclectic, fabulous atmosphere that is Tangerine.

Blake's brother, Nick (sans fedora, last evening), who stopped in at the end of the night to offer his appreciation for our glowing review of his gentlemanly behavior. (He really is a good guy, ladies - snap him up!)

JP - Oh, JP, how we love you so! You're always there with a witty comment, a lovely compliment and a napkin drawing. We were soooo happy to see you!! Smooches, hugs & Cuba Libras to you. :)

To our cab drivers (we were good Divas and took cabs last night): Terri the Cabbie (it's a hat...it's a driver....it's two things in one!) and Mr. Unnamed Insane Cab Driver of the Year. I don't remember his name, the only words of English he knew were 'left' and 'right' (and we had to shout those multiple times for it to sink in) and he nearly killed us getting home, but we made it. (*whew*) So, for keeping us safe, we appreciate your Designation. :)

And NOW, for the new friends:

To Christine and Brandon, who gave us their barstools, thereby ensuring the continued success of Diva Nightlife. Thank you!!!

Brian & Kirk (aka "Maverick" & "Iceman") who made for interesting conversation.

Air Force Brian, who taught Zoë to salute and proferred some cocktails along with a display of his nipple piercing (oo-la-la!)

Mark and Tino. Wow. They are a blog all their own. More on them later.....

Tom and Jackie!!!! We LOVE you guys - you were awesome!! Smooches all around!

Philip the Gallery Guy - we'll definitely stop by (and if anyone knows Philip's last name, or the name of the Gallery, please let us know so we can give him a plug!)

And last, but certainly not least,

Brandon, our new Artist friend, whom we met through Phillip. Can't WAIT to see Brandon's work and have a cup of coffee with him soon!!! You're ever so adorable, and we look forward to hanging out with you again! xoxo

All in all, a rousingly successful Diva-evening, due in no small part to the amazing cast of characters!

Thank you, Thank you - a Thousand Tangerine-flavored Thank-you's!!

Quotes, stories and miscellaneous blogfodder to come in the next day or two. Stay Tuned!!

Divaliciously Yours,

Vi & Zoë

P.S. - There were a few LARGE bites of Blogfodder, which won't be covered in the thank-you's, because they fall under the category of "Johnny Blogfodder" and the illustrious "Dickweed-Blogfodder-of-the-Month." (You'll have to go to Johnny Blogfodder to read about them).
